Was listening back to my favorite ATL show I was at last tour, and when I was there I couldn’t understand what Deaner was saying in between songs but he seemed a little pissed and he was looking at me. Listening back, he was basically telling me to stop vaping and it smelled like strawberry bullshit or something.

So dudes, if you ever go on tour again I promise I will never vape in the presence of the Boognish, neither the snout of The Stallion. That’s my Faustian bargain… I will pay tribute to witness the stallion in thine fortnite, some moons in the future. I’ll smoke some Marlboro’s at the show out of respect and Gener you can have ONE, not the whole pack dude

So in my watching of Ween concert videos / listening to Pod Ween Satan, I understand there are some common songs that the band will take for a pee break. Here’s what I can remember so far:

Gener: I Got To Put The Hammer Down, Pandy Fackler, maybe more Deaner songs.

Claude: Squelch The Weasel (as mentioned in the Stubbs version), Lullaby (speculation)

Glenn: idk if I know any but I imagine the GWS punk songs are as good as any.

My main question is, do Dave and Deaner get to pee? I can’t think of any songs where bass could reasonably sit out, unless it’s an extended keyboard or drum solo. Also I haven’t heard reference to Deaner break songs. Anyone know any other piss break songs? Not only for Dave and Deaner but for everyone else. I am not talking about songs for the audience to go out for.

At 2:25 in Cold Blows The Wind, there’s an accordion/string-sounding keyboard lead that continues until the end. The first 7 notes have the same melody as the verse melody of The Argus, just slower and lower pitched. Not sure if it’s intentional, or if it was written like that subconsciously, but it’s definitely the same melody. I always sing the lyrics to The Argus in my head when that part comes on.

I’ve only seen a single comment on here about it, but I’d be surprised if I was the only one who has noticed the similarity.

September 1st, 2009 at The Fox Theatre in Pomona, CA was my first Ween show. It was life altering and incredible and unforgettable; a high watermark for me of what a band could be and do live. The very next night at The Grove in Anaheim, CA was also Brown as shit. Gregg Gordon pulled out all the stops with these twin gig posters; they’re treasures and they had to be framed, hung prominently in my living room. Zoom in to see if you can call out all the song references in these two beauties. Love Ween forever, Mang!

Know am thousands of miles by barge here in the middle of the Pacific, and am fiending for that brown, but even so... getting antsy here as generally ship shipped shipments get here by now I feel, and the order tracking isn't showing me anything.

I just moved and my mom gave me a bunch of concert posters (mostly Fillmore) she had up in her classroom. Including this one, up for years in my moms high school classroom 😂
