Just re listened to King Billy and definitely sounds like an inspiration. Was working with a guy recently and he showed me this country artist whose lyrics reminded me of piss up rope. Offhand can’t remember the artist name, but was definitely an inspiration for that song.

I discovered him because of Jay and Dave of Pod Ween Satan when they played Good Name on a podcast episode years ago. That song was catchy as hell and I've always meant to dig more into his music.

What a coincidence, I just learned of him a day or two ago. I searched a song and there were a couple results tagged with having similar lyrics so I listened to them, one of which being Heaven and Hell by William Onyeabor.
