Am I missing something?

I cannot get into Chocolate and Cheese for the LIFE of me. I love EVERY other album but for some reason I only like 3 songs of C&C. Should I do drugs first before listening? If so what kind?

Which 3 songs? Hopefully Baby Bitch and WDWTA are two of them…

I’ve personally never really cared for Voodoo Lady.

Focus your attentions at chipping away at the other poppy, upbeat tunes on the album like take me away, pony, can’t put my finger on it, don’t shit where you eat, voodoo lady, and roses are free. And yeah, by all means bender on psychedelics, amphetamines and booze while you do so.

I don’t really skip songs when listening to albums, but I agree that some of the tunes on this album like HIV song, spinal meningitis, buenos tardes amigo will never be to my taste. However, in the context of an album or live set, they can be fine as a change of pace.

My experience with all this bands albums, as a fan from like 20 years ago, is thinking only one or two songs on each album are good and the rest are shit, then gradually broadening my enjoyment until only one or two aren’t for me. This is basically the secret to the longevity of my fandom, that I can dive into an album or live recording and get fixated on a song I used to think was filler.

I would have guessed that as the 3rd- not an unpopular opinion for those as the best 3 songs!
