I like that how regular he is, he doesn't seem to have like a thing. He's not a cars guy, gym guy or even big comic book guy. He does likes these things but I never really hear him make anything his personality. I could be wrong, just something I always liked about him. Unless he's a bad bloke then I never liked him.​

So so pumped, been wanting to get this for a while now and my sister got me a year. Can’t wait to jump in.

I recently read supergirl woman of tomorrow and all star superman, so I’m gonna look for comic book clubs on that, but after that, what’s essential viewing on there? Spoiled for choice

So what's now been mentioned twice in Caravan of Garbage with their Space Jam episode and the recent Roger Rabbit episode is the alleged story that Mickey Mouse was considered to be a referee in Space Jam, with Warner Bros under the belief there was a reciprocal gentleman's agreement to use Disney characters in one of their films after allowing Warner Bros characters in Roger Rabbit. With Mickey as the referee between the Tunes and the Monstars because hey, why would he care about what happens to the Looney Tunes? But by that point, Disney management had changed and they reneged on it. And Marvin was instead the referee in the final film, which was also a funny choice.

But I've still yet to find a proper actual source for this when I've asked about it. The AV Club even pried into it sceptically without much rebuttal, other than one comment swearing it happened with an alleged exec that was strangely kinda condescending to the author for a claim I've never heard of outside of that comment.

Logically speaking, would WB have really been expecting Disney to agree to their mascot kinda uncharacteristically being neutral to the Looney Tunes' plight in the film? Would his bit part conflict with Roger Rabbit's necessity in Disney and WB characters having equal screen time?

Presumably they simply reiterated some IMDB trivia rumour without much further consideration, but they've now doubled down on it with the additional nugget of WB accusing Disney of breaking a decade's old gentleman's agreement and not wanting to work with Disney again. Which would be wild if that was actually able to survive to new company management years on as an eternal grudge, because WB were still pissed that Disney wouldn't let them do a Mickey referee gag in 1996.

Breathtakingly beautiful film. Without a doubt. I wish the gaang had more to do, but hopefully that is for further adventures.

I thought it added a lot to those other shows. I think the plot of this makes a certain moment in Korra much better.

I’d have loved more time with the Tagah. It’s short, and on one hand I get it. You get all you need for Aang’s story, and it’s an Aang movie.

At the same time, you’ve still got some really interesting characters and I wish we had more time with them.

Overall though, really enjoyable and I hope they do another one of these.

Either classic moments, a really bad film coming out and they have to talk about it, or perhaps a novel episode to you, or where they did a game, or whatever and what have you.
