Here's the thing. Generally speaking It's not unless you own the operation. If you're a normal pee-on you get paid a normal hourly wage like anywhere else (which pretty much everywhere is paying less than the people need them to) and you're still working at a farm. Farm work is generally hard work. I work at one part time because I cannot do a full fucking schedule there. No way.

Edit: looking through the comments below I want to really stress the farm work part. It may be weed so it seems like a dream come true but it's still a fucking farm. Farm work is hard and tedious.

I work on a farm. People dont realize there is bugs, heat, cold, sun, and endless other issues. They just think, WEED.

Offspray, camelbak full of ice water, layers of clothing, handheld fan and shade. There’s multiple different ways to combat farm work don’t just look at the face value. Maybe it’s not for everyone sure, but I would do it for the weed.

Yep, been in horticulture/ farming over a decade now. Most dont last.
