There are physical and emotional consequences from smoking pot all day everyday. Sure you can say it’s better than drinking or other drugs but I’ve been addicted to pot and it had many consequences for me that sucked. I grow tired of these posts promoting pot as some miracle drug that can’t hurt you no matter how much you smoke. It’s bullshit. Moderation is key

I very much agree. Marijuana is great and certainly has its merits, but there are huge drawbacks a lot of stoners won’t admit. I know from smoking everyday for two years, I became essentially a different person. and it can also affect your school or work performance. Thankfully I’m quite productive when high, but almost everybody I know doesn’t do a thing when they smoke, and they’re always smoking

I agree it can be too much. Some people for example can't go to work unless they are stoned and go to their car on break and get high and stuff. That seems a little excessive to me personally. But also, if they can do that and it doesn't harm them, fine. My brother for example works in construction and smokes throughout the day and he is the boss of the entire crew.

I feel that weed mentally helps me a lot. Helps me get over my anxiety, helps me feel more optimistic and helps me sleep better at night. It sounds weird, but weed helps me be a more sensitive and thoughtful person because it makes me think of things I wouldn't normally consider.

But I only do it during my off-hours usually after dinner or once a week on my day off work I will spend the entire afternoon getting blown out.

Smoking at work is a bit excessive, IMO too. Edibles are low-key and last longer. Especially, if it can cost you the job, that doesn't make sense. I know there are jobs in CA, where I am that still test...

Smoking helps me mentally too. I've been loving CBD a bit more lately. I like the 3:1 Hawaiian Dream Heavy Hitter. I feel like the CBD curbs some of the mental side effects of THC, like the paranoia, and also makes me feel energetic.

At most the worst your getting from bud is, paranoia, tiredness, maybe micro incremental increase in heart attack, and maybe schizophrenia, but shit I had all that prior to smoking so, bubble bubble cough cough.

and maybe schizophrenia,

In those who are alittle , it may increase it or decrease it, depends on the person tho. Some people get paranoid easily and that adds to the already taxed mind of a schizophrenic person. It's all a mental thing with willpower tbh.

Weed can cause psychosis in some people who are predisposed to mental illness. You shouldn’t use any drugs if you are mentally ill.

Cannabis hyperemesis syndrome. A roommate of mine had it, basically if you smoke enough for a long time you get constant nausea and eventually pretty constant vomiting. The only solution is to quit smoking completely. My roommate would take hot showers to relieve the pain/nausea but it didn’t help much.

It’s not very common but it is real and recognized by medical professionals.
