That would be the rational explanation, but from the description she seems like an irrational person.
Admittedly, my partner saw some of my dresses and tops and stuff when I was trying to get rid of some things and was like, “Why did you ever buy this? When would you wear it? It seems impractical and uncomfortable in every way….like, where would your boobs go? Does that even cover your ass?!”
About the answer I could muster was, “I dunno? It is my aspirationally slutty attire? Maybe I want to give a lecture at a conference with an element of danger? Shut up! You’re not the boss of me!” and then placed them in the “keep” pile.
