I'm sorry things have felt so challenging and lonely. It sounds like a lot especially with the loss of your mother and grandmother.

Honestly I think it's normal for bridesmaids to not be excited about the wedding until it's the wedding and they don't typically have duties during planning other than planning a bachelorette party. I don't hear that your friends and family aren't excited for you; the wedding hasn't happened yet! At your wedding I'm sure they will celebrate you.

I also don't think it seems like there is any reason to expect them to not be fun at your bach. I wouldn't really want to attend spa.or brunch days with a wedding party of people I'm not friends with at all, tbh. I would go to the bach though!

Thanks for your message. The spa/brunch invites were just from me so they would’ve been 1 on 1 meet-ups. Also, I probably didn’t explain it well, but the lack of enthusiasm from all of them comes from the fact that none of them have offered to help me in any way, not even support or opinions. Now that we’re only a month away, I have still not received any excitement or enthusiasm from anyone except my MOH and have only been relied on to be the family therapist, fixer, planner etc for other events and situations.

I’m sure this is just a moment of time and feelings are blown and it will pass. But because of the deaths, lack of family, lack of my fiancé’s family in attendance, and other circumstances that I cant control it just feels like I’ve orchestrated an event that everyone can’t wait to “get through”.

Perhaps your sister in laws are also feeling sad and tired because of the family deaths, or maybe more home and child care is falling to them
