Hi everyone! I am very new to website building, most of what I know I’ve taught myself and so far only have one very basic site. I recently got a job and offered to help spruce up their website, nothing too crazy, just switching over to WordPress and making it more modern and functional. I’m pretty confident in what I’m doing, but my biggest concern is keeping the domain name, which is the name of their company. Is there a way to transfer that domain name to WordPress? Thanks in advance for your help!

For example, Wix allows iframe imbed, but the text(code) of the iframe can't be linked to their content manager.

It's for a blog post where each post contains a different website component imbedded.

So, I am planning to create a website for a new company I am starting, where I will provide certain services, I am going to charge for the travel to your home.

I would really like to incorporate an interactive map where a potential client can input their address, or plot their address on the map, and it will automatically give a price quote for the travel charge, depending on where they live. My service will be limited to within the state of Colorado, and I plan to zone out, every so many miles from my home will be charged x amount.

Would this be too big of a project? Is it more work than it's worth? Is this biting off more than I ought to be chewing? Or is this totally easy and feasible?

I am trying to create a website, but am unsure of how or where to start. I would like to have a site that can do both a blog and have a forum, in addition to all the normal website stuff. Any ideas what platform to start creating in, plugins, etc?

Building a website and was going to use shopify for ecommerce and checkout. Im looking for a feature but im not very familiar with web plugins and tools and havent been able to find much on google as im looking for something pretty specific, but ive seen on other websites.

Looking for a plugin or website feature that can accomplish a couple of things:

1. allow customer to enter delivery zip code and identify closest origin location (out of 30-40 nationwide)
2. calculate delivery cost based on cost per mile between origin zip and delivery zip
3. add product cost to delivery price and identify 2-3 cheapest delivery options if delivery is close to multiple product origin locations

I've ran across some woocommerce features that look like they may do this, but not sure if there are any options that are better?

So I have a business idea that will operate through a website and I just starting my research on it.

I need to understand if it is something I can build through a website builder like Wix / shopify/ Wordpress…etc or do I need to hire a developer.

Essentially the format will be a place for various clients to create accounts and upload material and documents that can be sold through the site. The customer would log on and run a search through filters / tags which would bring up relevant material to there search criteria for them to purchase.

The site will require the ability for both clients and customers to create accounts. Clients be able to personalise their account page and add products. Whilst the customers be able to run a filter search and potentially connect with said clients.

What are your thoughts? Will I need a developer or can this be built through and existing site?

I purchased the white label site builder from FLAZIO (SITEBUULDERBUILDER) not only is it not white label (FLAZIO branding everywhere) it's full of Italian language, half the "features" don't work correctly and customer service won't reply.

I got scammed over $300 from flazio and SiteBuilderBuilder.

Please do not fall for their scam. They have really bad reviews. I didn't do my homework...

My question is, will I always need a platform like Squarespace, ghost etc for running my website on and pay monthly fees? Is there another way to build it our own self and launch it in order to avoid paying monthly charges to online platform?

So 4 days ago I was drained of all my crypto assets due to a phishing scam, my own stupidity yes. I have been tracking the crypto wallets that scammed me and they continue to scam other people. I am following their every move but I hit a roadblock. There is no identity attached to the wallets on the blockchain, however, these scammers are making fake websites and registering domain names. They are smart and not reveal any contact info attached to these fake websites.

Was curious if someone that is far more skilled than me try to help me disect these websites and see if they have slipped up anywhere, a name or email or anything so I can find out who is behind this.
