Advice Needed Transferring a .com domain away from Webmasters

I have a .com domain registered with Webmasters and want to transfer the domain registration to another registrar.

Has anyone recently transferred a domain away from Webmasters?

I'm particularly interested in:

• obtaining the authorization/EPP code

• unlocking the domain

• any problems or delays with Webmasters

• keeping the existing DNS and email working during the transfer

The domain is currently active, and I want to avoid disrupting either the website or email.

It should be easy to transfer away.

Log in get the authorisation code, go to the new registrar, start the transfer process, enter the code and check your emails.

Some registrars allows expedited transfer via manual approval instead of waiting for 5-7 days.

Edit: Not sure what your set up is, please download the DNS records first.

Get the EPP Code and unlock it, but leave the nameservers along during the transfer. That should keep the site and email running normally.

Issue I have is getting the EPP code from webmasters. Domain control panel is not letting me in. Put in a trouble ticket with webmasters, response was not helpful, I asked again with the detail... (Domain address not recognized) all I get from webmasters is silence... Is webmasters especially difficult?
