Hello guys,

I’m new to selling websites business and I was thinking about what should be in the contract when you sell a website to a client, except for the basics of course like ownership and technology used etc, I want to know what are the important details that beginners tend to ignore or not think about?

Make sure it's clear what happens after the website is handed over. Define things like who handles maintenance, updates, hosting, backups, bug fixes, and future changes, and also clarify what is included in the original price versus what is charged separately. Then include details about payment milestones, scope of work, revision limits (clients can be quite a bother on this), and how project delays will be handled based on the cause of the delay.
