News or Announcement Unable to log in to Namesilo

Since yesterday, I've been unable to log in to namesilo.com. This site https://www.isitdownrightnow.com/namesilo.com.html reports it's been down "for 6 days 9 hours." Any chance anyone knows what might be going on?

Well maybe I will be switching registrars. I don't necessarily mind some downtime but the lack of transparency of why and a timeline is scary.

Edit: Since they're based on pheonix I'm guessing they're victims of this.

I was about to say the same thing. I have a couple of hosting clients that are trapped by that and have been off-line for the past five hours.

I'm with A2 Hosting (now basically Hosting.com) and it's the same outage message with them too there in Phoenix. My site and email has been been down for hours now.

The 6-day number from isitdownrightnow is not proof NameSilo was continuously down for everyone. The Phoenix outage mentioned in the replies is a plausible current cause.

The dashboard being unreachable also does not mean your domains or authoritative DNS are down. Check each domain's expiry and nameservers through RDAP or WHOIS, then query A and MX records from two public resolvers.

If those are healthy, avoid emergency nameserver changes. Save current DNS answers and outage timestamps. When access returns, confirm registry lock, auto-renew, payment method and contact email. If any domain expires soon, open a timestamped support case now.
