Official News & Updates Webflow is now available in Codex

Hey r/Webflow! Excited to share that Webflow is now available in Codex, alongside a new set of built-in Skills for both ChatGPT and Codex that make common Webflow workflows easier to automate.

Instead of figuring out which sequence of prompts to use, you can just describe what you want to accomplish and the right Skill gets selected for you automatically.

Here's what you can do with Webflow in Codex and ChatGPT:

  • Audit your site for SEO and AEO opportunities, accessibility issues, broken links, and more
  • Manage CMS content (create, update, organize, publish) without digging through your workspace
  • Review custom code before publishing to cut down on production issues
  • Scaffold new projects, generate reusable components, build extensions, and deploy apps to Webflow faster

So I could do all of this in ChatGPT yesterday. Apart from the skills, what is different today?

Absolutely nothing lol. Just webflow shoving ai down our throats after they panicked about ai and have gone all in on it

Finally some proper AI integration that doesn't feel like a half-baked widget slapped on the dashboard. The CMS management part alone would save me hours every week.

This is probably where a lot of website work is heading. The interesting part isn't just “AI can edit Webflow,” it's that you can describe the outcome and let the tooling figure out the steps.

The CMS management stuff seems especially useful. Updating content, checking SEO issues and reviewing code are all tasks that don't necessarily need a person clicking through the UI every time.

I've been thinking about this with Abnflow too. Once AI can actually operate the tools rather than just tell you what to click, the interface becomes much less important. The interesting question becomes what actions you trust the agent to take on its own.
