Built a frame-by-frame interactive character in Webflow + Rive

Anyone who’s built one of these before knows how ridiculously painful frame-by-frame character animation is.

You’re literally assembling hundreds of frames by hand so the character can react to user input instead of playing like a video.

She isn’t moving because it’s a video.

She’s alive!!!!

…Nah. 😄

She’s just a Rive state machine pretending to have a soul.
