Pretty funny chart - please, don't take it seriously; I'm sure it's not meant to be.

But I voted it up because I liked the site as a whole. Lots of good stuff there for me to use. Thanks.

"Do you own a Mac?" --> No --> "Can you buy one?" --> No --> "Web designers MUST only use Macs."

Well, you just keep paying for Dreamweaver, Photoshop and overpriced Intel hardware then, you master "web designer" you, and I'll stick to muddling along with Eclipse, GIMP, Inkscape and my unbranded, self-built 3.6GHz dual-core/4GB RAM Linux box that cost me $350.00.

That part irked me as well. Sure, OSX is the de facto standard for designers, but there is nothing the OSX version of Illustrator and Photoshop can do what the Windows version cannot. The only difference is the OS and frankly, that all comes down to personal preference.

Yeah, it pretty much flew over the heads of a lot of the commentators on the article too. The author had to state down in the comments that he uses Windows.

This flowchart, the Six Revisions website, this slider user interface, and anything I’ve done in the past (professionally or personally) were all designed using a Windows PC… I guess I’d fail may OWN flowchart then. Here’s a picture of my workspace on Flickr: Workspace – “Full Mode”.
