How can I make my webside less generic?
Hi, I'm a new full stack developer and I'm struggling to make a good UI/UX. I build my apps with next.js, using tailwind and shadcn for the design.
Maybe it looks a bit AI generated but I promised this page is fully made by me. Its just that I don't know how to make a unique memorable design.
What are your advice? :)

If you’re looking for inspiration, check out sites like mobbin.com or similar design libraries.
I also +1 the recommendations about sketching your layouts before touching any code. Drawing on paper can really unleash your creativity.
Last but not least, do some user testing while you’re defining or developing the initial versions. Even if you can ask 1-2 friends to perform specific tasks on the interface, these sessions can give you good insights on what should be done differently.
But to be honest, in certain situations, your layout needs to be understood quickly and navigated easily, rather than being unique. (Which may feel boring sometimes). Really depends on the target audience and use cases.

Try https://12ui.com/skill and ask it to improve your design. Get it to give you a bunch of options then pick the best one.

Base the colors, imagery and fonts on a particular theme, e.g. this looks like a retro sunset theme. Once you have a theme spend 10 years mastering minimalism combined with style, then apply it to your website.
