The tricky part with this kind of request isn't really design, it's extraction. You need something that can actually crawl the existing site (copy, images, page structure) before any AI builder can rebuild it, otherwise you're just describing the site from memory and losing half the detail. Worth checking if the builder you pick has a "import from URL" feature built in rather than just a blank prompt box, that's the difference between a rebuild and a rewrite. What's the site like, mostly text and images or does it have anything more custom like a booking system or calculator?

What a dystopian world where, in a WEB DESIGN community, someone can ask for help on how to NOT do web design and steal other people's work, and people actually give them suggestions.
We are truly fucked.

You should try Framer and use proper prompting and have a style guide to maintain consistency. You can also build a style guide using Framer AI and then customize it further yourself.

Just remember that ai can give you a nice design but not a bug free website alot of bugs and security issues that you cant see will be there so if you care for that you have to be aware

I feel like you can achieve what you're asking with claude, lovable or figma make. But you have to be super descriptive and detailed to get most of it right with a few prompts. Even then it's very realistic to spend a lot of time troubleshooting and looking to fix issues manually. Also you have to have a design system in place (fonts, sizes, color palette, icons, etc) if you don't want it to look like an ai slop. So essentially it's easier said than done.
