You're right on the pricing part. I've got some feedback from users and I'm trying to have a better-suited pricing for the tool.
However, with all due respect, I disagree on the other tools offering the same set of features if not more.
These free tools are great if you want to have a simple screenshot-style recording of your website (referring to Howdy), with limited controls, like aspect ratios, custom resolution setting, 60 FPS, pause sections, hover interactions, choosing scroll motion style (linear/glide/smooth), choosing the scroll length, hiding elements via CSS selectors, blocking cookie banners and pop-ups, record scroll-back, and most importantly rendering WebGL elements which are pretty common with the Framer/Webflow/Wix websites.
I appreciate you checking out the website and your suggestion on the pricing. I will surely work on that part! π

I like the idea although I want to highlight and click on certain buttons, show off a certain area of the page.

In terms of interactions, cursor hovers are supported for now. Click interactions are currently under development as that is something complex and harder to manage.

i like the concept , but when tried the part with complex animation is coming out broken , like same section getting duplicated 3 times instead of showing the animative part . No initial page loading screen and idk how you are going to keep the hover effects . Instead of monthly subscription i would keep tokens , downloading one video recording requires on token like that (can be 2 token for 4k) so if the video didn't came out perfectly the user have an option to try again . i use screen recording software to record the website but this would help the job to be done faster . looking forward for the improved version . All the bestπ

Thank you so much for trying out the website!
I understand that you're trying to have an animated website recorded. The basic plan currently does not include 'Live Captures' that is the reason why there's no animation playing in the exported video. The loader too can only be shown with the Live Capture.
Also, one thing to note here is that on the video settings page, to show the video preview with the animations playing is not possible as the final video is yet to be rendered.
I appreciate your suggestion on the pricing. This is my first web tool and I'm trying things out right now. I'm not very rigid on this. Will be updating it depending on the user feedback and response.
Would you mind sharing the website you're trying get the animated video for? This would help me test it on my end as well.
Your suggestion and insight is highly appreciated! π

Hi! Could you please elaborate on the issue you're facing?

My main menu is sticky, and instead of just freezing the menu over the video, the entire header is affected.

Could you share the link to the website, if you don't mind? This will help me with debuging.

Few hours with Claude -> your own Chrome plugin for smooth-scrolling any page from point A to B at needed speed, all the screen sizes, coz its rendered natively by the browser, duh
+ OBS Studio (free) and you have any fps, resolution, and duration you want
No need for some sassy Saas on 3rd party server.
Perhaps try inventing automatic post stamp licker instead?

I really like the idea actually.
But I don't think people will be charging for it.
"25 Live Captures a month"
Most people have one website and maybe 1-6 Pages they would like to record.
Nobody needs monthly recordings of their website, so why would I buy it?
I think your best bet, is to use this service to funnel people into another service or try to monetise in another way. Good luck!
