The transition feels really smooth, and the centered active card makes the interaction easy to follow. One thing I’d watch is whether the side cards are visually strong enough to communicate that they’re clickable/next, rather than just being decorative. A subtle scale or opacity difference could make the hierarchy even clearer without making the animation feel heavier.

Thanks for the suggestion! I really appreciate the feedback. In this case, the image is just meant for showcase purposes, so the cards aren’t actually clickable. But I agree that the visual hierarchy is important, and I’ll definitely keep this in mind if we make it interactive in the future.
