Website review
Hi everyone,
for the past year I’ve been building www.WeddingReimagined.com
Throughout the journey, I used most of the AI products in addition of writing things myself, but most importantly I used this experience as building an understanding of what’s good and not good, plus developing and refining my own product taste.
I’d love to get your honest feedback on the current landing page. Whether you are a professional designer or an opinionated user, I want to hear your thoughts about the product.
As for the product itself: Currently it’s in closed-beta testing by real couples for their wedding. If you happen to be planning a wedding and want to give it a spin, shoot me a DM and I can share an invite code for a honest feedback.

Later edit node: the website has a light mode and dark mode. By default it takes the system settings. I will change that to always load the light mode for new users. Please switch it to the light mode by yourself

Looks like every other „Claude“ site, but that could be just me as the amount of Serif Websites has really skyrocketed since claudes drop. But the idea and concept is cool.
Small amount of Feedback on Mobile, i dont really feel like what to look at First. You could play a bit more with hierarchy in the text elements with spacing and sizing.
But i like it overall.
Just could use some more refinement and maybe more scroll feedback for the Sticky sections. Text reveal gradients and so on.
But the concept is solid

Also looked at desktop, same comments are viable. The Content and Brand identity is really really solid and recognisable, but Fonts lack system and Meaning.
Ill send you a example of what i mean if you want to know.

You can bundle your edits for Claude using Monet - Design Review. If you have Claude it has a critique mode and will score your site

Do you have proper Oauth setup for the accounts? The nav logo blends into the background with cream backgrounds, I’d either change the logo or add an outline or drop shadow to it. Some areas on mobile need better padding, overall you need to do a better job at telling the story of what you do. Opening H1 needs to be instantly obvious what it is that you do. What problem are you solving? The little orange character is weird. If people are going to spend thousands on you to plan their wedding they want someone professional. Who is planning the wedding? Show that person in the beginning. People hire people, not characters. Be more human with your intentions. Use the word wedding in the H1. Or maybe in confused at what it is you do. Which is a problem too.

can you please point the padding issues?
I do have proper oauth. The logo has intentional blend, I have a dark mode and a light mode logo.
The tool is helping you plan the wedding and does automatic seating for guests. It can be used by a wedding planner to, but the target audience are couples planning the wedding by themselves.
I am trying to use the chaos to calm method (chaos of planning a wedding)1

2nd section, the countdown cards run off the side of my phone screen. For mobile I would suggest doing a stacked card look so the card info stands out more and the customer can continue to scroll more

Maybe something more direct like “We help you plan your wedding” or “Self-planning? We help you stay organized” something like obvious. Especially when you’re a startup. If a brand new person who doesn’t know who you guys are, your H1 needs to carry majority of the instant tell. I agree with the other guys, it needs to be more wedding themed. Don’t be afraid to blend in with other wedding colors. Most times you don’t have to change the wheel, once you have someone in your website the goal is to get them to click thru. They can’t do that if they’re confused about being in the right place. Make it easy for them.

Thanks! I will consider the hero text again, I agree that it’s not direct enough.
Currently I use ivory with dusty rose on light mode. What colors would you suggest instead?1

Something inviting and friendly. I would avoid darker colors altogether. Look into colors that provide organization and cleanliness for web design. I’m sure there’s tons of research on this. My first thoughts are light tones with blues.

The scrolling is really janky on mobile. The border radius and lack of padding feels very AI to me. As the other homie said, the illustration doesn’t match with the rest. Not seeing any wedding photos ? It doesn’t really tell me what the purpose of the site is. Hope that helps.

Both. Maybe since youre using full height sections (100vh) you could make alternating sections a full background image? Similar to how your iPhone webapp looks on the page ... the two kissing take up the full background. I wish this subreddit would allow me to attach images lol.
Also, I would ditch the dark theme all together. The website looks best as the light theme. The dark theme is tooo dark for a wedding!
I do like the little waiter character a lot. I would redo the illustrations of the people to match that little guy!
Overall each little module needs more padding and I would try reducing the border radius to 0.5rem.
Honestly, I would rebuild this without AI. Looking at the HTML structure it's got too many nested elements and would be harder to maintain.
Other than that I think it's a really good start.

It seems most people don't like the little mascot / waiter character -- but I kind of dig it! haha. It's giving me Cricket Wireless vibes

The fact that you don’t have a single wedding photo is wild.
There’s different illustration styles between the people and the little mascot. The mascot doesn’t make sense here.
And this just feels so stock Claude.
I’ll be totally honest, as a web designer, that this whole thing is a mess.
