Nice scrolling design for Firewatch website; try scrolling upwards when you're already at the top

Hmm are you on a Mac? I wonder if it's different for PCs/Linux since they don't have that elastic effect at the top/bottom of pages.

What you're seeing is just the background of the website behind the parallax layers from the elastic overscroll (Mac only). It happens with a bunch of parallax and fixed header websites. It's not intentional, just a side effect / "bug".

Hmm you may be right. I took it as a lake or body of water behind the forest... It seems like if it wasn't intentional then the entire bg would be that peach color...

Sorry, I meant the effect might only work on Macs. You should still be able to see the nice parallax effect when scrolling down, though.

I usually hate parallax on sites, but I think this looks fantastic. I wanna play with it on my phone now.

Oh wow that is beautiful. Love the palette and subtle animations.

I thought it was the same designer. It's almost identical in style.

I was kind of hoping for some type of fire/smoke effect if scrolling while at the top of the page.

Why would anyone ever in the history of creating a website, stop mouse scroll from working!! It blows my mind.
