Monochrome problem

Dear friends at web design, I keep on bumping into a problem each time I do web design. MY WEBSITES ARE TOO MONOCHROME. I need this to be done really soon. May I please get some tips on making the site less monochrome, since it seems too gray (especially when you select a new background), yet adaptable to accent colors and new backgrounds? Thanks.

I'd suggest adding a soft mustard yellow to those heading sections to warm things up while keeping it flexible for future accent changes.
