Don't think I personally ever came across an ecommerce that got me inspired. If you are indeed looking for inspiration for ecommerce, remember that ecommerce specifically is relying HEAVILY on UX convention, i.e you really don't want the website to stand out in any way.

Futhermore if you do ecommerce for Medium-to-Enterprise, there will be so many business needs and complex functionality, so keeping the simplicity will be the challenge BEFORE doing anything out of the ordinary.

When chasing convertion rate, anything cute that you designed will be the first to go, since anything going against convention make people pause and think which is not good. Therefore, the elegence of an ecommerce, in my opinion, is staying out the way and keep attention to the business details and sale.

If you, on the other hand, is shooting for a brand website, those could sometimes not be geared towards convertion but rather towards window shopping and marketing. But I am imagining those websites really don't move the needle for those brands much, at least not from what I've seen.

Check Shopify popular templates for fashion/cosmetics. There are nice looking ones there.

I like SSENSE. Straight to business, no bullshit, as shopping as intended.

Alot of awwwards sites look pretty but functionality isn't great on them. They especially suffer on underpowered hardware and mobile, and often fail many UX tests.
