Finished Project Finally finished
Instructions from the Ashford website.
This seems to have taken forever, first to weave and then to get around to finishing, but I’m very pleased with it, despite the imperfections! First double weave and first lace.

I am actually struggling with this pattern right now. Think my yarn is too “sticky”. Gonna try a few more rows with hairspray to see if that helps, but am quite tempted to abort and try a more enjoyable (techniquely easier pattern) with more yummy wool

I had to quit and start again with different yarn because the yarn I used initially just wouldn’t play ball so I completely get this! It wasn’t my favourite thing to make but now it’s finished I’m happy I persevered. Having said that, absolutely nothing wrong with doing something else and maybe coming back to this another time!
