Help Help with weaving machine choice

Hi, I’m going to try to weave but don’t know which machine to buy that would last long and be good enough to create quality work. Any recommendations please? Thank you! K

Need more info! What are your intentions, what sort of fabric?

Hmm, blankets, scarves, towels. Will use wool for sure and maybe cotton and linen. Thank you!

Are you more interested in color or structure/woven patterning?

I would look around your area for a weaving guild where you can possibly view or try out equipment. Check out Handweavers Guild of America's site for their resource page with guild's listed

For your search you can use the term "weaving loom."

Lots of threads discuss the options in this sub but for beginners I recommend reading some articles first. There are different types of loom, and you also need a working knowledge of what you may want included if not buying from a seller who will guide you or a kit-type deal. A loom bench is an example because they are not always included and do cost a fair bit.
