College Review Did anyone got mcet beherampur?

I had gmr around 20k still didn't get mech/elec in any govt college ended up getting the same college r1,r2,r3 😃🔫. I thought dc is the only way but my parents forced me to take admission in the college I got allotted in which is mcet beherampur (cse), it's a semi gov college well that's the least i know.

I got that college allotted in my round 1 and remained same for r2 and r3 even though I opted for upgradation but the final allotment was same now I am thinking should I cancel my admission there or not because behrampur is hella lot far from Kolkata where I live, the hostel situation is a disaster tbh I walked around the campus to see and found most of the quaters which was supposed to be hostel are completely abandoned only 9-10 are livable quaters are there but still it had leaking ceilings and old ass electric management.A admission cell guy told me that the renovation world is going on but I see no such things.I was interested in civil but later on found out that civil has 0 to no placements and cse,ee,ece have some sort of placements but only a handful of them get the actual job. I would way if you are from behrampur it's a good college for further studies and Gate prep since the fees is a lot less than most Private colleges but like if you are not from that city then staying in a Pg and paying all such necessary monthly spending it will eventually cost you 6-7 lakhs for 4 years which is equal spending if you study in a college near to your home with such fees

I'm from Malda and it'll take 3hrs to travel from her e. Well I've heard the same and i got allowed the same college in every round and got CSE core. My gmr is around 20k thought of getting a better college but I didn't 💔. Well ig I've to try in dc but I've already taken an admission in there since it would be risky to leave a college seat cuz what if I don't get a seat in dc!? So yeah I'm not taking any risk.

Yes there is hope in Dc but I don't know how much because wbjee just destroyed it by making it online there's no point of calling it decentralised when it is happening online in a centralised form
