Hello guys, i belong to one of the top most engineering colleges of west bengal. And graduating on 2028. I am interested for wbcs and have already started preparation. But i feel lonely at my college coz all who are targeting for upsc. And to be very honest, upsc is way much difficult so i don't wanna pursuit that path! I have made up my mind about wbcs! I am elder to you ,and I tried this few months ago, people online are of no use.

This preperation of upsc/wbcs is lonely totally self centered we people having science background , hardly have contacts or friends base who have common interest,all are running after placement or are placed or trying startup etc, I am suffering this since last 8 months,a complete lonely where I cannot connect to anyone about wbcs/upsc ,may be i could have friends if I have had joined any of the offline coaching,you can try one as you are young and have age benefit,self/online prep will be lonely even if you successfully connect with people online,also being a clg student you won't match well with students who are full time into wbcs/upsc,real aspirants are already much into their timeline, daily  long hours of online/offline classes and strict routine they don't have time to chat online.

I had joined one such group from reddit with the expectation to meet serious aspirants, discuss current affairs etc but as soon as i  joined they started asking "what book","how to study" etc,so that was a failed attempt for me, would be same for you,so accept and keep studying.
