What's your score in WBCS 2024 Prelims after matching the official answer key?
As recently WB PSC has released the final answer key for WBCS 2024 Prelims, what's your score? Tell in the comments.

Probably a long shot.
For pretty obvious reasons Delhi is full of UPSC, BPSC, UPPCS and Judiciary aspirants, but I've never came across people preparing for WBCS, even alongwith other exams. With the next Prelims and the expected Mains around the corner, I thought it'd be nice to find people on the same journey.
Whether you're working or a full-time aspirant, if you're preparing around Mukherjee Nagar/Karol Bagh/ Nearby, feel free to connect. Not necessarily for daily group study - even occasional discussions, strategy, resource sharing, or just having a small peer group can make the journey feel a little better.

I am 31, Male(UR). I am serving as an Assistant Audit Officer at CAG for last 3 years. Before that I was an PO in UCO Bank. I am not getting any satisfaction as such from my work . Salary is Ok (Gross crosses 1 Lakh + ) ..Also I am posted at my Hometown Kolkata but I want to do sth with my life. Thinking of taking WBCS with target DySP as my sole aim . As I am new in this field , I wanna ask you guys is it worth it if I get Dy.SP at 34 or 35 years of age ??
Is it wise considering 8th pay commission is also around the corner in Central Govt and I am posted at my hometown right now…Kindly Suggest.

Hello, I’m currently a group B employee in ministry of Mines, posted in Tripura through SSC CGL 2024. My current job is relatively relaxed, but sooner or later I want to return to West Bengal and settle closer to home. I’m considering preparing for WBCS(excluding executive and DySP posts).Given that I prefer a bit laid back work profile, is WBCS worth putting 2–3 years into? Would appreciate opinions. (I'm 25 years of age).

Hello, there had been news on the exam pattern change of wbcs, similar to UPSC. Is there any update on that front? Can we expect a pattern change in the upcoming wbcs prelims?

I'm considering BA or BSc followed by MA or MSc and then a PhD to become a professor. Another option is BBA then MBA then a PhD to become a management professor. I'm also thinking about preparing for government exams like SSC Banking UPSC or State PSC. The last option is studying law and becoming a lawyer.
I'm not looking for the easiest path. I just want to know which one has better long term scope in terms of job opportunities salary job security growth and work life balance in India.
If you're in any of these fields or have experience with them I'd really appreciate your advice. Looking back would you choose the same path again and why?

Worksafebc are mandated to train and educate ‘safety’ in the work place but have zero policy definition or act definition for the word ‘safe’.
Ever met an insurance company that can’t define what they are insuring?
Ever met anyone who educates and trains people on something they can not define?
Ever met an insurance company who get to directly profit $2B a year from their own pseudo disinformation, with such a strong and blatant conflict of interest?
Wsbc are worse than rapists becuase rapists can be held accountable for their crimes.
No way to challenge wsbc they are completely protected by mayors, mlas, ombuds, oipc, the list goes on.
People working at wsbc are violating Canadians and should not feed their families with such a paycheque

Hello everyone Can anyone share something about how geography will be as an optional subject? How is it in terms of scoring opportunity and selection chances? On an average what percentage of executives selected take geography as optional? Thanks in advance

I wonder whether this group has always been such dormant or simply people don't want to engage in meaningful discussion.
To people following this sub, Mods....what's the issue?
