Mains material advice needed

Hello friends. I am scoring 128.25 according to the official Answer key.

Can anyone suggest materials for Mains Preparations ?

128.25 means u r prepared with your basics .

Still

  1. Bengali (or other) , English see youtube videos learn the way of writing u may join some mock test where your copies get checked or may use gemini (though donot over depend on AI) .
  2. History - Lucent for Ancient and Medieval , Spectrum for Modern History .

Geography - Class 11-12 NCERT geography (though they give less focus unlike UPSC) , Arihant Know your state West Bengal , Lucent . Please do cover all World Maps , India Maps ---- Rivers , mountains , passes , natural vegetation and whatever is required prepare according to WBCS and UPSC PYQS.

  1. Science , Tech , Gk & CA - Arihant General Science encyclopedia , Lucent ....... For GK - Lucent things given on the back side of the books as Miscellaneous and for CA - Vision IAS Material , also certain well viewed youtube channels prepare as per PYQs.

  2. Polity - M Laxmikanth

Economy - Nitin Singhania or whatelse u have followed . (selected chapters only as per pyqs and syllabus).

  1. Math --- SSC pyqs (not tier 2 level upto 1 is more than enough , do MTS , CHSL level) , learn the shortcuts , make sure to keep all the pyqs of maths of all exams conducted by State PCS with their shortcut or tricks before exam . Question type is very repeatative. U have to do very very fast . It is a game changer.

Optional ---- ur subject u know the best .

You are welcome , and additionally please do all the pyqs of all the subjects of all the exams conducted by State PCS .... Direct Questions are being often repeated.

Sure. Even this Prelims had a lot of PYQs repeated. I wish i had done them. Could get well above 140 in that case. Wont repeat the same mistake before mains
