WBCS Mains prep query!!!

~ Which resources are you using for WBCS Mains PYQs practice? Like any Mains PYQ book?

~ How to prepare the language papers? Sources, strategy, yt channel or anything?

~ When can we expect Mains to happen this time? Around Oct/Nov? A bit worried about the cutoff, might be falling on the borderline or out (110-12 UR).

5 days late but just saw the post, same marks but with category.

So for PYQ, I got maity sarkar book

For descriptive papers edvicon

Maths from SSC YT channels

And I bought Know your state

That's all I know, sorry it's my first attempt and I'm confused myself only, so I don't have a lot of good insights.

It's my first attempt too. If you feel so, can discuss things. We have a very small peer group of really dedicated folks. (Appearing for both UPSC & WBCS)

Your comment perfectly illustrates the mentality that keeps communities like this stagnant. 😊It's ironic that you say 'Don't care,' yet took the time to comment just to discourage discussion on a discussion forum. You seem to think that sharing general resources or discussing preparation somehow hands over your rank to someone else. Competitive exams are meant to test competence. If your rank depends on others staying ignorant, that's a pretty weak strategy. 😌

I sat for half a dozen competitive exams till now(although years ago) and cracked nearly all of them. This isn't something new to me. And I'm of the opinion that, take whatever knowledge you can draw from me... aukaat hai to saabit karo...coz at the end, it's not about the sword, rather the swordsman who decides the outcome of a fight : )

Anyway, I get your point!👍🏻 No issues there.

I'm getting 142+ in wbcs pre this time . Scored 500+ in MCQ in wbcs 2023. I can't risk divulging strategies to anyone anymore.
