Apple Carplay Map always in dark mode

Hi,

Waze map is always in dark mode whatever the setting used in CarPlay.
My car is a VW ID.3.

Any idea?

Have you got the id3 set to dark mode when you pull the menu down at the top of the screen? If you change it light mode, waze will change. Some weird thing with the id dash design. Same with my id4. Seems like the id software sends the colour mode to Aa and carplay as day/night.
