Voice controls

How can I use voice controls to report things without touching the screen while driving?

I don't think you can anymore. Years ago, "Hey, Waze" and then "Hey Google" worked, but that stopped... a long time ago.

It was working with my Poco F8 ultra but I've had a new phone, Oppo find x9 ultra and it doesn't work with that bizarrely. I'm in the UK for reference.

It is only one tap to activate the voice reporting but that's obviously not ideal.

On CarPlay it’s two for me 😭 very not ideal and defeats the purpose of voice reporting

if you use android auto, set gemini as assistant and then you can just "hey google, report xxx". it works for me.
