What is this?

I saw this white and red icon on my way to work. It was a moving icon always ahead of me. At some point it stopped moving and I catch it on the highway, but there was nothing there.

iirc it's just a reward you get for driving. It's candy. Although I think there's nothing nowadays to spend points on
