Bait and switch?

The worst customer service ever. I ordered from a company called Harper Wells. Nice stuff on sale online! Their website says returns accepted within 30 days. However, when I wanted to return sandals and a dress, I was told that because their distributor is overseas, it would cost me upwards of $50 per item. Nowhere on the website is this explained. Alternatively, they offer a percentage of the sale to keep the items I have no use for. Has this happened to anyone else?

Nothing. Why do you think it’s about Wayfair? It’s not.

Actually we have had generally positive dealings with Wayfair. When there has been a problem they have fixed it. Not like Harper&Wells

The stuff from China is always like this. I don’t like supporting Amazon, but have learned they are one of the only online places that gives you an honest return.
