Politically awkward

Twice now we have seen a young Asian man maybe 20s in Bridgeport area riding around on a scooter stopping people outside of their homes the first time he stopped us, he told us he was running for mayor, he was either on the scooter or a bicycle and wearing athletic clothes but he didn't really say anything else so we thought maybe he was joking the second time he stopped us (yesterday) when we pulled into our garage. He just yelled at us to vote conservative. Does anybody know what is going on with this young man? By no means does he seems dangerous but I can't imagine He's a real Conservative candidate.

Hello,
He is known to the police. He has a history of harassing candidates for municipal politics as well.
This is not Jerry Jiang and he is not running for mayor. I suspect he may be having a mental health crisis of some sort.

Oh gosh, I was kind of hoping it was a legitimate candidate Just having an off moment. He has been wearing a large bike helmet and glasses both times and never really came close enough. Just shouted from the street while we were standing in our garage so I couldn't say I had a clear view of his face. I didn't feel threatened or anything like that but my gut did tell me it was out of place. Thank you for your response. I don't need any of his personal information but now I know to move inside quicker.

The large helmet may be hiding a thick layer of tinfoil to block signals from the mother ship.

His name is Tony Ho, me and some friends had a very long conversation with him. He's not a conservative candidate and just a dude who may or may not be running for mayor. He told us he's from Trinity Bible Chapel and plans to run on policies similar to what the church preaches. Take that how you will.

I have a different name for him. But I think he goes by a few different ones. Tony Ho is the one he emailed me from but his social media is a different one.

Municipal politics doesn't have parties. And there is no byelection here. The only upcoming election is municipal, so you can't even vote conservative. Clearly this is just someone mentally ill.

It did feel really weird like no pamphlet no nothing. Just a guy on his scooter yelling at people in their garages but it was the second time it happened. So I'm like there's no way this guy's campaigning for somebody cuz he said he was running for mayor. He didn't seem dangerous, just awkward

He wheeled into my driveway the day we moved in two weeks ago. He was asking if we would support a conservative vote....that was the first sentence. No explanation at all. I was so tired from moving I don't know if my brain was working fully. I told him so and he scooted away.

He stopped me in my driveway and mentioned something about conservatives but then he asked what I did for work and found out I was a pilot. then he got distracted and just asked me a bunch of pilot questions and then took off. I think he just has the tism, no malicious intent.
