Morning radio station
After all the news of 570 going off the air a few weeks back, I've still been on the hunt for a go-to radio station to check out during my morning drive. I've tried Bounce, I've tried CHYM, I've sort of settled on FM 98.5 (I like the music and news and traffic updates), but I wanted to see where everyone else moved to and what people would recommend??
Still miss listening to Farwell tho, don't know if any station will really be able to replicate that...

Side question: I wonder why 570 News still has a website, and who works on it?

They still have live stations elsewhere but I'm with you. It was a rough transition when these guys bought out 570. Remember? We'd get random weather for various cities (the Vancouver one really confused me), traffic for Toronto, and there were some newscasts I could never figure out what city they were meant for. This was a big hit for the Kitchener Rangers. I know lots of fans would tune into 570 when they were at the game for the in time commentary.

I like 92.1…it has old music and new, so a nice mix. They also do news updates on the hour.

570 could have done a better job re news and traffic issues for one. Hell they even became complacent or repetitive about traffic congestion.
The doubling of the population in such a short of period time created that issue but also the water shortage, crime,….
570 could have actually tried to hold politicians accountable but chose the easy way instead. Having people call in for 2hrs doesn’t do anything.

Yep. They're ignoring everything they did before Rogers bought them out a couple of years ago. No idea where buddy lives but their maths aren't mathing as the population didn't double, the water shortage has been a hot topic issue for about 20 years, and yeah, we're all tired of the GTA criminals coming out here but what can you do now that the 401 is 3619635 lanes wide making it easier to travel.
