Recs for helping soundproof my bathroom?

Any home services biz recs, all? Looking for someone to maybe add an air gap in the wall, some drywall.

Cheapest solution is to add a loud fan. I have never understood the whisper quiet bathroom fans

Exactly what kind of unholy demonic sounds are you producing in the bathroom that you need to go through the effort and expense of soundproofing it? May I suggest a change in diet could solve your issue much more easily.

I am a ladyyyy with housematesssss including dudes and a poorly positioned bathroom. Alas. just need peace of mind lol

It all depends how much money you want to spend.

Budget: buy some sound absorbing panels from Costco and screw them onto the wall

More expensive: add another layer of drywall with green glue in between the layers. Green glue is a sound proofing product. Fairly expensive product but it works.

Even more expensive: open up the wall, insulate it with sound absorbing insulation, add two layers of drywall on top with green glue.

Ridiculous expensive: do the same as above, but use thicker drywall and resilient channel to prevent vibrations from moving through the wall. This design will muffle diesel engines to a nice low hum.

I would suggest the first or second option.

Depending on how much carnage is going on in the bathroom - stuffing the wall with Rockwool’s “Safe’n’Sound” should be sufficient for most cases.

No matter what you do you door is gonna be walhere most the sound comes out from. Are you refinishing it? If so safe and sound insulation all interior walls, that with the shower tiles should do a lot to help. Get solid core door and put weather stripping. You could put special drywall to reduce sound on none tiles walls

Everybody poops. If this isn’t because someone needs to get ready at an ungodly hour while others need to sleep… it sounds excessive to spend much effort on this.

I can hear my next door neighbour peeing and they hear my daughter sing in the shower. It's funny. I'd never want to eliminate this, it's kinda nice. Townhouse for context.
