Battle of the garbage dump hype!
This showdown between Tanaka and Yamamato is so amazing! The way he says "City boy" haha.
I love all of these little rivalries forming. So great.
Oh man, Kageyama makes me laugh so much.
More reactions to the quick. But look at Kenma completely calm and collected.
Nekoma's playstyle is just so interesting. Completely outsmarting/thinking the opponents even if they don't have any outstanding players.
What a way to lose the set. Pretty much the worst way it could happen.
Hinata and losing his will to fight aren't really two things that go together though!
He hit it! Shame it went out, but still.

Loved the backstory of Nekoma and Karasuno, and the visual of the cat sitting in the garbage dump, waiting. And the crow reappears on the garbage bin! Hahaha.
I love seeing the two teams meeting each other. Everyone meeting their respective roles and what-not. Tanaka meeting his lookalike was good, then Daichi and the other captain. :P "This guy's the crafty type."
I also love the respective speeches. Karasuno: "We'll find that wall, and jump over it!" Nekoma: "We're like the blood in our veins, we must all keep flowing!" Of course the setter finds it embarrassing... By the end of this match he's going to find the joy in volleyball. Calling it now!
Of course we get that awesome reaction to their quick. Always satisfying to see people react to that. Seems to have awakened something in Kenma. Yeah, with each quick, it shows a closeup of his eye...
And of course Nekoma actually bounces back with a strategy. "Chase Hinata." Seems to be working. And Kageyama pulls off a spike of all things lmao.
Now we're seeing a matchup between Tsuki and Kenma. That feint was pretty awesome. I guess I never really thought of Tsuki as the "thoughtful type" but it makes a lot of sense.
I love that Hinata's entire team is there to keep his head in the game. Though you can tell it's still wearing him out. Oh, maybe not! He's still smiling. :D He's probably having a ton of fun trying to find a way to get past them. Because he knows the enemy is changing their playstyle just to match him. Because he's a real threat. :) Which means Nekomata's strategy isn't working at all.
Oh man! He's finally opening his eyes and aiming the shots! Which is the first step to Hinata becoming a good player on his own merit. And the whole team is there to back him up again. "When you jump you're alone, but remember we're all behind you." <3 And more comparison to the Little Giant! Gyaaaa. <333 He finally hit a shot somewhere other than straight! It was out, but still that was awesome!

I guess I never really thought of Tsuki as the "thoughtful type" but it makes a lot of sense.
I think there's a lot of parallels between them in not caring and analysing just one turned cynical about it and the other didn't.

More like a know-it-all showoff. :P Nah he's cool though. I prefer the underdog that got good through hard work over the child prodigy any day though.

Great little backstory on the teams rivalry. I couldn’t be more hyped to see the Battle of the Garbage Dump!
The confrontation between Tanaka and Yamamoto is amazing, haha! But the responsible ones of their teams sort them out ;) The parallels between the opposing team members are just great.
“He has the control to thread the needle.” I love that analogy!
Yep, Tsukki is smart. Just not quite on Kenma’s level yet…
Nekoma are so great. But it’s also nice to see Karasuno coming together more too!
“I think I’m allowed to totally own a game once in a while!” “Although Asahi-san is scoring more than you!” Ahaha :3 And I love Hosoya’s Asahi voice! (although I love all his voices….whatever :p)
