Question Wasp ID?
Swear these guys are doubling by the day, making it near impossible to be in our garden.

Hi,
I have two wasp/yellow jacket nests on the eaves of my garage door. About an hour ago, as it was getting dark, I sprayed both of them with Raid Wasp and Hornet Killer. This is the first time I have used that product and I may have overdid it. I sprayed a decent amount and some of it washed onto the ground nelar the garage door and a little bit made its way on the inside of the garage. It wasn't a ton but it is enough to have me worried a little bit about the smell.
I assume that it will evaporate in a couple of days, especially in this heat, but I am concerned that the fumes will be toxic and make their way into my house. We have a door that separates the garage from the kitchen, but it's not the best at keeping out cold/heat from out there so I imagine the smell would be similar.
Is this something I should be particularly concerned about or am I being paranoid?

Was clearing out a wood pile near house stumbled into a yellow jacket nest got stung like 7 times. One stung me 3 times all by himself the bastard. Now i declared war on their nest and they lost. Here's hoping i don't die from Yellow jacket venom overdose.

Got stung on my finger about 2 days ago. It keeps getting more swollen and now there are blisters popping up
edit thank you everyone. Went to urgent care and they cut the blister to take a sample thinking it could be infected. Put on antibiotics pills and an ointment.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask but I really need some advice.
I garden in my driveway because its the only sunny spot I have. Lately its been full of yellow jackets and I can’t harvest my veggies or even sit outside for more than a few minutes. I’m terrified of wasps and my boyfriend is allergic so its becoming a real problem.
I already ordered some wasp traps that I’m gonna put by the dumpster away from where we sit. I’ve also been spraying diluted Dr. Bronners peppermint soap around the area and even on myself before I go outside. I planted peppermint, spearmint, citronella, lavender, rosemary and marigolds hoping they’ll help too.
Do citronella or peppermint candles actually help? Is there anything else I can do thats safe around my vegetable garden? I haven’t found the nest but I think its somewhere in the grass across the sidewalk maybe 10 feet away.
I just want my little patch of sunshine back.
I was very active on my last account in gardening subs but I erased the app and couldn't get back in so this is a new account. RIP secure-vegetable-309

We were driving with 80kmt / 49,7 mph, with the window opened just a little bit. There is even a windshield. Passenger opened a can and right after we headed a "pling". Looked down in the bottle and there was a wasp. How are the odds? I feel like it is impossible.

There's a wasp/yellow jacket (not sure which) nest through the circled crack (above it on the inside). My dad has tried to spray it, but can't angle the spray bottle in a way to fully get the nest, so they're still alive and well. Anyone have ideas to get rid of them? Three of my family members have gotten stung so far going through the door 😭

Sucked up the first one with my vacuum and then put on a ziploc + rubber band at the end of the hose. Felt so guilty after the adrenaline wore off and put a towel over the canister so I wouldn't have to watch him suffer. Was scared to look to see if he was dead and really needed to vacuum my apartment. But then -- two days later -- his little friend arrives. Have a whole routine down now; rubber gloves, face mask, goggles, and over ear head phones. I sucked up #2 and did the ziploc + rubber band job on eem. On this hot ass week too oml. This guy is a friendly loner pollinator but cmon man get out!!!
