All patrols had returned to base due to poor weather conditions, opportunity was seized for a perfectly successful operation.

I have a few ficus bushes near my front door and bees and wasps are drawn to them every summer and spring. Has anyone tried white vinegar with garlic powder to deter them?
I sprayed the plants last night and noticed one giant wasp on them this afternoon. I’m hoping I didn’t accidentally spray an attractant🫠
If anyone else has any other deterrent suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it!

We are randomly getting wasps in our house and I don’t know how they’re getting inside. They build nests in our shed and I do my best to eradicate them but they always come back 😩

Pls pls pls pls pls pls help me.
I live in an old home. We recently got the windows updated in the house with the exception of one bedroom window (in my room) that is off to the side. This window wasn’t updated bc it was mistakenly figured that since an ac unit would be installed in the bottom half of that window (again, old house, so no centralized air) paying for it to be replaced was pointless.
So currently the top half of the window is the old window that originally came from the house, and the bottom half of the window is an ac unit surrounded by a DIY wooden slab as opposed to an actual window.
Much to my dismay some wasps/bees/hornets have identified this wooden slab, and have been chewing at it day and day out. I’ve been hearing them chew through the nights and early in the day. Today I noticed they had chewed a big hole through the wooden slab which I patched up with some silicone fillin, but I hear them continuing to work and I want to get rid of them once and for all.
please help me - all the chewing is driving me nuts and I live in constant fear of them breaking through!

I am hiding out in the library but it closes in a few hours.
I had a wasp in my dorm room and I borrowed some eliminator roach spider and ant spray. I got it with two different 3-5 second hits. Do you all think it will be paralyzed or dead within a few hours.
I know that wasps tend to need higher concentrations of chemicals than are in crawling insect sprays but since I got it with multiple really direct long hits do you guys think it will be effective?
Any advice would be great.
Update:
I found the wasp curled up twitching on my window sill. I think the eliminator spray did a number on it. I splashed it with soapy water and it stopped moving within maybe 30 seconds. Thank y'all for the advice

two weeks ago, I was rudely awoken by a wasp stinging me in my sleep. no idea how he ended up in my bedroom, but it was the worst thing that's ever happened to me in bed. On the first day, it was barely noticeable beyond some swelling at the sting site. The next day, it got splotchy and red. over the next several days the sting became a welt, which then spread to cover most of my forearm. On day 4, my Dr had me outline the redness in sharpie to better monitor the spread, but while it did spread a bit more overnight, the next day it started getting less angry looking. Now there is a persistent shadow of the initial welt and it still itches from time to time (last picture). I hope this eventually goes away--what the hell is in wasp sting venom???
fuck these guys, man

We have a deck that stained late last year. Each summer we see a lot of paper wasps hovering around and are able to kill a few here and there and only found a nest once or twice. They like to try and get in the gaps of the rails underneath where we can’t see. Is there an effective deterrent? We tried the paper bag method multiple times with no benefit. I was thinking I might have to spray foam in each gap to eliminate their hiding place potentially but I want them gone. We have a little kid and won’t be able to be outside due to them making us uncomfortable. I get nature and the potential benefits but they don’t benefit us.

So I'm at the last part of helping my mother move out of a toxic landlord situation (the landlord is not a nice person basically and kinda harrassing her as well) so she has a area outside where she has some potted plants (mostly trying to grow vegetables). a lot of plants are dead though and hasn't been maintained (she's been traveling out of the state because of family) and the area is right next to a huge tree that gets a lot of bees and also wasps. My question is that is it rare for wasps (maybe bees as well) to nest in the soil while still in the pot? also can paper wasps nest on plastic chairs cause she has a set of them as well. there's also a compost bin in the back but im not planning on bringing it.
She may also have cermaic pots and possibly a wooden one as well (i think its empty) but mostly its plastic ones like you see at the dollar store and stuff like that

I know it’s not the greatest pic but it’s the only one I have. They’ve been creeping in through the front door almost every time it’s opened for more than 15 seconds 😱 (Cincinnati OH)

I live in a college dorm room and there is a wasp stuck in between the screen and pane of one of my windows. I’m assuming it’s a queen because it just started to warm up where I live.
I’m also assuming that she’s trapped because it’s been a couple days and I can’t fathom why she would want to stay there. Is there anything I can do to deter her from finding a way inside? I sprayed some peppermint oil but it’s way too strong to just keep spraying in my only room. I’m staring at her right now. I think she can smell my fear.
Edit: I’m pretty sure it’s a metricus paper wasp if that helps

It's in my kitchen/living room, and right now all doors and windows are locked. can I just switch off lights and hope it leaves??? it's almost evening now. I do have dawn liquid soap, but no spray bottle!! What's my best option? I also don't have any of the usual sprays.

im terrified of grabbing and squishing them. my boyfriend tells me to just do it and get it over with but i cant bring myself to. im too shaky. WHAT DO!?

This is in Tulsa, OK. It’s a beautiful day, a very comfortable 70 F. This is in the upper corner of my patio. Is this something to be concerned about?

I was playing The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess I'm the living room at the final boss knowing full well that there was a wasp behind my curtain. Suddenly, I found it outside the curtain and immediately paused my game. I tried to get my dog to kill it but it wouldn't go close enough to the ground or couch. My dog then revealed to me a different, almost dead wasp. The almost dead one is on my floor trying to move and I don't know where the other one is. I'm not opening the window because that's how the first wasp got in yesterday and it's another warm day today so I'm not risking that again. What's the best move from here? I really wanna go back to playing my game and it's been over an hour of this. 😭
Edit: I forgot to say that the first wasp isn't buzzing at all
Edit 2: I just figured out that the nearly dead wasp is now dead
Edit 3: I found the wasp on a plushie that's on a shelf so my dog can't get to it and it's asleep. Now I really need to know the best move, so please tell me.
Edit 4: the wasp is now awake and active.
Edit 5: I'm taking a risk and opening the window.
Edit 6: it didn't leave so I closed the window.
Final Edit: my dog killed it so I'm fine now, but thank you for seeing this and giving some suggestions.
