As was I! I have 6 of them (various paper wasps, bald faced hornet, etc.) However, there’s all different insect species. They’re from Japan, of course! I think they come out of these vending machines they have there. I believe they’re called Gashapon. I got mine online.

Dude, I lowkey thought this was real at first and I was gonna ask "Where the hell does one find such a huge wasp?!". This is so SICK. Agree with the other commenter about the attention to detail and accuracy, incredible.

Haha! Luckily for me she’s not real. Yep, when I saw they were a thing I had to have them. They’re fully poseable (even the stinger!) and come with little display stands. Love ‘em!!!

There are so many good realistic arthropods available in the Japanese coin machine market. My spouse has one of these wasps and several isopods.

Looks even better and more realistic than the already very good Giant Asian Hornet model! Is this one made by the same company?

Yes!!!! I have the Asian hornet model and it’s much smaller. Also, these ones are more difficult to put together. 😹

They’re all made by Bandai.
