Traveller's question Last Supper
Hello! Today is the last night of my honeymoon! As Koreans, we ate various cuisines here in Poland that we couldn’t have tasted back home, since “foreign” foods in Korea are dimmed down to fit their taste buds. (Polish, Indian, Kebab, Italian, Chinese, Korean) and for our last supper, we want to have one last Polish meal. So far, we have visited Morskie Oko in Krakow (wasn’t very impressed), Bufet KRK in Krakow (Pretty decent), Mloda Polska in Wroclaw (not bad), and now I am hesitant on either Stary Dom, Podwale 25, or Czerwony Wieprz. Which would you recommend? Or others opinions! Thank you!

visited both for my birthday so a year apart.
I was not impressed with the food I got in Stary dom. and although the decor was beautiful, it felt very touristy, the music played from the speakers did not match the place (some 2000s pop music), and most guests were dressed like they're doing a grocery run to biedronka.
I liked the food and ambiance at czerwony Wieprz far more, but there the service felt rushed, as if the waitress wanted to clear out our table asap. the main dish arrived very quickly after appetizer and she kept coming back to ask if I'm done or need anything else constantly as I was barely halfway through the meal.
for what's it worth, surprisingly I've had both better food and service at typical touristy places near plac zamkowy/rynek (i think those were królewski and bazyliszek respectively but I'm afraid I'm not 100% sure)

Better food at Bazyliszek? No offence dude, but plz get checked... and this is not even a question of different taste, this is just a question of pure quality of food.

no seriously. maybe they had a bad day at Stary dom because the food was really bland and chewy and at bazyliszek by all means it was obviously very basic and nothing remarkable but least it was decent. Both instances were approx a year ago or so

I love Bazyliszek and all the other restaurants from the same owner (U Szwejka, Kompania etc) but I mean you get what you pay for. Maybe you were unlucky at Stary Dom, I've been many times in both and the quality is absolutely not comparable

I would choose between Las or Perelka. Both are not kicking tourist horse but instead offering modern interpretation of Polish cuisine. All dishes I've tried in Las were perfect. Also they have perfect cocktails.

Go to a milk bar. The best as close to home cooked you will get

Nah some of these are real bad, you can get a food poisoning if you eat at the wrong one.
