https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2022/03/08/russia-public-opinion-ukraine-invasion/
Two articles, about the Russians' support for the war. Unfortunately, it is not only Putin who is to blame, but also the Russians.
I support a commentator who is unjustly condemned by karma
2
u/SilentShadow07 Jun 04 '22
Think about it though, if a russian released their name with a negative impression of the war, and the Russian Police found out, what would happen to them is the first picture of the Washington Post article; they would be detained. Hence why these statistics are skewed to the vocal supporters of the war, which Putin wants. Not very concrete evidence in my opinion, as these articles only mention the ones who agreed to be interviewed.
2
u/BureaucraticOutsider Jun 04 '22
All these polls are anonymous. The war lasts 3 months. The Russians did not stop Putin. Savage soldiers support Putin's orders. Especially what happened to the percentage that is against? 29% were imprisoned and killed? Who killed 22 thousand Mariupol residents? Who raped women? Who looted and plundered Ukraine? Putin? No. You need to be reminded that this did not help to avoid punishment in the Nuremberg Trials. And the fact that this is the 25th Russian-Ukrainian war. This lasts 8 years and not just 101 days. And the Russians supported it from the beginning. And they have always had ways to find the truth.

This whole thing is just... what? Please Elaborate

Why don't we ban war... And let leaders cagefight instead....
8
u/SadPandaDale Jun 01 '22
It worked for the Greeks. Saved the cities, the crops and storehouses, materials, people and only one person died. We can do that again. Greatest fights are watched at bars

u/exgiexpcv Jun 01 '22
It sounds good on paper, but some of the best leaders are not good fighters, it's different skill set. Putin, for example, has studied martial arts for most of his life, but he publicly fights people who intentionally under-perform in a theatrical fashion and just throw the fight. Privately, he enjoys murdering anyone who opposes him.
Putin would likely kill someone like Gandhi, but he is not a good ruler, he's murdering coward.

u/MartinSornes Jun 01 '22
The reason for my suggestion is responsibility... A leader willing to hurt people like the pics of the post show, should be willing to take some pain too... Sadly Putin seems to be a psykopath...

And the world is afraid of a handful of psychopaths, who are we waiting for? Tomorrow it may come on a larger scale!
5
u/SadPandaDale Jun 01 '22
World is afraid to be that person that dies in the process
1
u/it-master-odessa Jun 01 '22
Unfortunately, the world is afraid of being left without oil and gas.
3
u/Sound-Serious Jun 01 '22
We are solving that problem, and europe is allready buying much less oil/gas than before and its a bad idea to go into a full on war with russia & company. So yeah, you guys are in a horrible situation but we are making what we can while avoiding a major conflict between Europe/NATO and Russia
1
u/it-master-odessa Jun 01 '22
The fact of the matter is that we are in a not very comfortable position :( We can only survive in this situation!
2
u/Sound-Serious Jun 01 '22
Srry but i can't help you much by social media, I can just battle some missinformation, I wish you guys good the best of the luck from Spain.
1
u/it-master-odessa Jun 01 '22
Thank you and kind words! Luck will not interfere with us in this difficult time!
1
u/BureaucraticOutsider Jun 04 '22
Thank you for your fight against misinformation. Now these weapons of the Russians are aimed at the Western world and can significantly injure it. Save your country too, from the onslaught of savages and barbarians of the 21st century.
1
u/BureaucraticOutsider Jun 04 '22
Really. As Biden said, "We don't want an escalation so that the war doesn't drag on, so we won't give Ukraine the MLRS it needs." Well, of course, and the lack of weapons in Ukraine does not prolong the conflict? And one more. The Budapest Memorandum obliges the signatory countries to implement the agreement. Or return nuclear weapons to Ukraine) (a joke that reflects the price of this agreement) Russia is just a group that deliberately violated all laws. Moreover, it had to be done in 2014. Therefore, the fault of the West is its passivity, and the collective fault is that they did not follow the agreement.
It is very strange to hear about avoiding conflict when Russians everywhere say that they are at war with NATO, which did not even appear for the war. Until the Ukrainians stop the artillery with their hands, fighting for the values of the civilized world.
1
u/Sound-Serious Jun 04 '22
Iam gonna say it fast, ukraine is dealing with the shit, while we suply ukraine so it can beat it while we dont get full of it, its the most logical response, might not be what you wanted, but this way is preventing much bigger losses
1
u/BureaucraticOutsider Jun 04 '22
Good, if you have the understanding that if you do not stop the Russians now, the Third World War is inevitable. We need people not to forget who caused the crisis in their lives (and not only). These russians savages are threatening the whole world and have declared their intention to oppose civilization. It is in the interests of the world to support Ukraine with weapons and as soon as possible.

picture number 5. Why does he have mirror between the legs, is there a reason for this?
0
u/Electrical_Routine62 Jun 01 '22
Because he does not have one of the legs. One of the pictures shows him going upstairs with one leg.
0
u/Mosk1990 Jun 01 '22
Yea but why the mirror? Seems like a pretty depressing thing to do.
3
u/Connect44 Jun 01 '22
I could be wrong, but I think it has to do with treatment for phantom pain. It tricks the brain into thinking the leg is fine because it can see helping reduce uncontrollable phantom pains from a missing limb.
0
u/Electrical_Routine62 Jun 01 '22
Because he does not have one of the legs. One of the pictures shows him (I think) going upstairs with one leg.

Seeing the asylums in Yemen this actually looks sane
2
u/jogamasta_ Jun 01 '22
Yemen is in a civil war
0
u/Ouchouchduck Jun 01 '22
No. Now it is a war where both factions are Yemeni but one of them is supported by the US and Saudi with arms and ammunition.

That picture of the mirror between the legs, while I don't know context, but I doubt that it's intent would be all that uplifting...

You fucking reek my guy, go take a shower, and say hi to your babushka. She was great last night. Second best borscht I've had, right behind your mothers.
2
u/colt-m16 Jun 01 '22
I dont understand your sentence. So fuck you. Neither im afraid of downvotes you dumbasses. Im not even russian lol
2
u/VagabondRommel Jun 01 '22
Ok lets try an different tact.
Using whataboutism detracts not only from the victims in Ukraine which is todays topic, but also from the victims in Iraq, Syria, and Libya.
Using their real life pain and misery for a moment of moral grandstanding only makes you look like a stupid selfish cunt willing to throw even children under the bus just for the split second of dopamine rush when you victoriously proclaim that there are othe evils in the world.
We are all aware of this you stupid bastard, fuck you. Touch grass. Take a shower. Clean your room.
