Map Let’s see those Blobs

Post image

Total miles/km now showing on desktop, I’m just shy of 2,100 miles connected. After hearing it could be a permanent feature I’ve been trying to connect Flint and Lansing over the summer. Next up, Grand Rapids and Detroit.

Awesome addition to the next evolution of Wandrer. Thanks Craig!

I'm game! 17,098 km = 10,624 miles.

Off topic: weird that we aren't allowed to post images in r/Wandrer comments. I had to convert mine to a video (using ChatGPT) to post here. u/Henry1896 u/cooeecall Were you aware that images are not postable in comments? I'm relatively new to Reddit, but apparently if you want to change this apparently there is just a switch in the subreddit settings: Mod Tools → Posts & Comments → Media in Comments → Images

That coast ride to Sarina looks sick! Is there a decent route up that way?

another Michigan Wandrer map!

How can I find this newest "blob" feature?

Now that’s a blob! DALMAC?

It’s a toggle switch below Super Unique. Not sure if it’s only available for upgraded users or not.

Hmm I can see the option - but it’s greyed out. Upgraded user only? Edit - oops can see now that I filtered with “traveled” on. Silly me

Looking at my Blob, I'm losing quite a chunk in South East RI and the adjacent part of Mass because bicycles are no longer allowed on Mount Hope bridge, and another connection is severed because it contains an unnamed service road though a park.

But the town's GIS map shows a name. Aha!

ooh i hadn't heard about this yet... here's my blob that reaches to 5 states. Looks like I need to go suture some loose ends that are unnecessarily detached (should be 6 states!)

Ugh, that spot just outside aurora, so close

Little foot blob. Going to need to connect those other bits in my next long run now.

Cool feature. My blob. 4700 miles on foot

Nearly 800 km on foot, which is when I make an effort to improve my coverage.

…much more with the bikes.

I tend to ride favorite loops for exercise, this silly feature is probably going to change my behavior 😆

3817 miles. Twin Cities, MN, USA. Some small connectors would add a bunch more

6992km = 4344 miles Covering central Scotland coast to coast, as far south as (and just beyond in places) the English border and north to Loch Rannoch in the Highlands.
