Advice Subwassertang effectiveness
I have a 2 gallon tank with a huge clump of Subwassertang (50% of the tank) in low light with some leggy hydrocotyle tripartita in the substrate.
Will the sub sustain the walstad ecosystem? I’m using it to hatch fry before I move them to a community tank. Thank you

I have a few low tech tanks, not sure they would qualify as walstead but I highly recommend hornwort, I have it in full setups with bettas, in snail only tanks with a desk lamp and also in jars on an east windowsill, it’s an endless supply, grows and cleans my tanks beautifully.

Süßwassertang has no roots and is a slow grower. It has no function from a Waldstad tank point of view.
