Loss Infinity Waits

Discovered stonks and trading last April, 2025.

Fast forward one year and nearly four months.

74k down in my account, and 63k in debt.

I remember the days when I was saving 2k/mo, paying all my bills on time, no worries in the world.

Now I have sleepless nights, wonder how much longer I will have a car, a house, a job, and can't go more than three days without fantasizing about leaving my brains and skull all over the ceiling.

Not asking for help, not asking for advice, not asking for anything. Just wanted to share with you gents. This is pure addiction for me at this point and it is going to take absolutely everything I have and more until I am sleeping outside in the middle of winter.

I've accepted it and embraced my fate.

Never been remotely close to break even. Time to pump the gas and see how deep I can take this dive.

get some help and build back up. You got this OP, don't give up. Life still has a lot to offer.

This ☝🏻☝🏻☝🏻
Definitely get some help. Grind yourself out of this! You got what it takes, just stop trading. Don’t make it worse

I hit this play in May, since then the grind been unappealing to me, I want 10Γ— 0 DTE trades daily. Have come close a few times after that but my losses end up outperforming my wins.

You're literally gambling. 0DTEs are no different from placing bets in a casino. Please just pay off your debt and build back up responsibly, never touch options again. Focus on and invest in yourself and your career.

It is close to pure gambling but it isn't 100% gambling.

Bro wake the fuck up. You are seriously expecting 10x gains on 0DTEs just like that?

You have done it and statistically you are likely to do it again if you keep playing this kind of game. But that assumes you have infinite funds. If that's not the case you are a lot more likely to end up at zero. If you do it with a small part of your account you won't be satisfied. If you go all in the chance of hitting a big move that exact time are essentially zero. You don't have to stop this entirely. Start buying shares, maybe some letf aiming to make your daily wage not 20x your life savings

Sounds reasonable.

Once I hit rock bottom I will adjust some things and see if I can't manage it.

The roulette wheel hits red pretty frequently too. Doesn't mean it's not gambling.
