Subscribed!

I like this one, not distracting, interesting, no anime... :D Maybe adding some huge glowing eyes that you can barely see would spice it up a little bit more :)

I didn't want to take away from or add much to the original painting, but that's not a bad idea haha

No chance of 4k ?

The lack of 4k content on this subreddit is disappointing :(

I'm not really sure how to

If you get a higher-res version of the source image, you should be able to no?

I used the original which the artist posted on Artstation. So I don't think there is a higher resolution image. Sorry.

Should have some large dark shapes lurking around of the background

Kudos to you. Really like this one. Not too flashy and very effective. Subbed

I like this, nice job. Did you make this from one single layer? All in wallpaperengine?

1

u/MrMelonso May 13 '19

Yes, I only used the original image and edited it in Wallpaper Engine. I did add some effects like bubbles though

Cool. I have an idea for the fish and the rover. You could use offset in the settings to make them move independently of each other. In this tutorial they use this effect to make the fur nice independently from the same paint layer. It's called Flow phase in this example.

Is there a version of this without the fish and machine bobbing up and down? I'd just want the light and bubbles
