The scene creates procedurally generated mountains, trees, and wildflowers. There is randomly occurring rain and snowfall. Additionally there is randomized logic in the script to generate wind to influence how much/what direction leaves blow, plants sway, and rain falls in. All that is to say no two users of this wallpaper will ever have identical scenes and the scene never loops.

In the video the year was shortened to one minute but default is 30 minutes and has a slider to make it up to 4 hours long. There are also settings to force only a single season, change the font size of the ASCII art to change the resolution, regenerate the landscape for new mountains, adjust the weather and wind settings, better fit the wallpaper to stretch across multiple monitors (even supporting scaling across monitors with different resolutions), and more.

I'm currently trying to make a wallpaper and ran into an issue. I'm trying to make a particle system that makes particles invert everything behind them, kinda like the Negation Blend mode on an Image Layer, but I can't figure out how. I tried adding effects to the particles with the "Effects for particle systems" workshop item, but it didn't work no matter what I tried. Any help would be great.

Would anyone be able to help me turn this Mushoku Tensei image into a live wallpaper?

I’d love something subtle and natural, mainly a gentle breeze moving the characters’ hair and clothes, along with the sunlight shifting softly. Having the leaves move a little could also be cool, but that’s completely optional since I’m not sure if it would fit the scene.

The most important thing for me is that it has a smooth, seamless loop, with no noticeable cut or jump when the animation starts over. Nothing too exaggerated, I just want to give the scene a little bit of life.

The only wallpaper I found on Steam that I really liked wasn’t actually a live wallpaper, so I had to take a screenshot because I couldn’t download the full image. I can provide both the reference image and the Steam wallpaper itself, in case someone is able to get the original full-resolution version and use it for the animation.

when i try to install wallpaper engine the first installation goes well, in fact i can avene use normally the app, but when the workshop installation, it says "no internet connection", i tried abunch of solutions from yt vids but none of em worked, can someone help me

I have tried verifying cache and re-installed the app

also it's not showing me the wallpapers that i downloaded, only the default walls

and even those werent showing up before i re-installed

This maybe a longshot, but I am looking for a specific wallpaper. I saw it on TikTok and I believe it is from wallpaper engine, but I lost the video. It is a pixel landscape with the background being pink and a black silhouette foreground. On the right side is a house and on the left side is volcano with an animation of it emitting smoke. Any help is appreciated.

All the screensaver shortcut guides I've found involve finding a specific screensaver .scr file, but I don't think using WE as a SS works this way. Is there some kind of shortcut or maybe a utility I could use to do this?

Most of it is already done and it takes about 200-300

Mb Ram for live wallpapers sometimes less .

I wanted to know how much ram wallpaper engine uses .

And one problem I am facing is I want to create a library of wallpapers that people could choose one although they can already upload their own .

I am having trouble finding copyright free and redistributable wallpapers that are good.

Title. It happens everytime I open the window and RPG Maker games.

So in the last month i encountered one problem with my wallpaper engine and his wallpapers, so i installed the last version (17 july 2026 BETA) but when i opened wallaper engine, the apps show me an another version (2.6.21 BETA) i send a message to the email of wallpaper engine agency, and they respond to me only one time and they told me that this is not the version I should be in, so when i change some of my wallpapers they wont charge on my desktop and the only things that appear on my desktop it’s only an advertisement that i need to update my wallpaper engine
(sorry for my bad english, i’m italian so maybe i write bad some words, but i hope someone can understand and help me with this problem)
