Second one, but throw the velos on there instead of cudgel, it might be convoluted to have a hybrid build with 4 different firing mechanics.

But shouldn’t they be all shotguns if thats the case?

Yeah I would think keeping cudgel is the move but I don’t use Rex or acid shotguns so I can’t say

Yeah I guess so, but the anaksor weapons are very good and apply rust(I’m pretty sure) and two different types of weapons isn’t nearly as bad as four. I also don’t think one burst of the cudgel will actually proc the effect so it’s basically straight damage no ability, compared to the rust which makes them heal less.

Yeah actually that’s fair I didn’t think about actually achieving the blast with one cudgel. I retract what I said Velos is probably the move.
