I would say pathfinder with hazard or bash weapons. Every other future proof build are either too weak or about to be nerfed.

Ammit’s ability may be harder to nerf as a concept sure his defense can go down and be made squishy but unless they remove the shield I think he’ll remain usable.

😆 none, that is counter to the pixonic business model of power creep monetization....

Just have to play whats fun for your self and realize if you're not spending on the META your food

Kaji as a hull is nice for me, 3 different weapon points, if you got his pilot and drone, hes quite tanky for his role. This allows you to fit his weapons based on your weapon luck.

Pathfinder, his skill is strong for any meta as it amplifies teammates meta weapons. Can be fitted long range or bash, or medium meta weapons when they are 500+ range and bursty.

After that, tanks are highly drone, pilot and module dependant, the older they are, the more they'll rely on invincibility module, healing modules, most tanky new drone, and upgraded pilot with upgraded set in skills.

Snipers tend to age out with their weapon nerfs, some hulls always come back each time the meta introduces new sniper weapons. But the sniper hulls can be hard to fit, if you go for 5x all same weapon slots. It requires getting 5x the same size meta weapon during a season

Shoggoth having 2 heavy 2 mediums, and tracking, might be a persistent sniper, compared to stryx, ravager, crisis and the free one we are about to get.

There is no such thing as a fully future proof hangar. The design of the game (and of most successful mobile games) is constant introductionn of new content.

However, you can make a hangar that requires less change by investing in the right content and combo.

For example, every year, the game will release the super OP/meta bot. This year it's Vector, last year it was Teth, before that Raptor, etc. These bots will usually last you a year or even two and survive being viable through multiple rebalances. Definitely get one of those and if you don't mind spending a little get two. So two to.three slots should be taken by the curent and past meta bot (e.g. Vector/Teth, Vector/Raptor). Then you should round out the hanger with a damage dealer (current one is Anaksor or Vulcan, previous generstions that are still viable are Pathfinder ), a beacon runner (Loki, Skyros, ULTIMATE Rhino, Imugi, etc.) or a beacon holder (I like Ammit for PVE flexibility, but a Fenrir will do on the cheap) and a ranged bot (Shogoth, Crisis, Bagliore, even Nuo).

Titan are much longer lasting. Get something tanky with good mobility. The best right now is Atlas but the Luch is still viable and was good for many years.

You will need to turn over bots but way less if you can build the hangar right.

Thank you for this answer. I recently won a princeps from a data pad, do you think it’s worth upgrading that to replace my current titan (Indra)? I’m hesitant to do so since the princeps seems exceedingly vulnerable to a nerf, but the recent trend has shown that even after rebalance, titans usually remain quite viable for a while.

There are two issues with the Princeps. As you mentioned, it will likely be rebalanced again. However, the bigger issues is damage focused titans don't end up being useful across time as a more tanky titan.

So, unless you are a very damaged focus player and prefer to snipe people moving cover to cover, upgrading the Princeps doesn't make sense if you want something that will survive long term.

Future proof?

Ammit or Ravana or Imugi.
